Final Four!

For a true U.K. fan, (those of us that actually bleed blue) seeing our boys go back to the Final Four is like the return of Jesus. Thanks to Coach Cal, once again the Cats are a force to be reckoned with. We have had a few long years since 98' when Tubby ran over Utah in the Championship game. My initial insticts tell me the championship game will be U.K. vs Butler. 76-67 Cats win it all. We'll have to wait and see. :)

Also a shout out to Shelvin Mack! Nice to see a fellow Bryan Station graduate make it big!! Enough about Butler though.

GO CATS!!!

Yet Another Cold, Rainy Day. . .

I think I am with the rest of the greater Lexington population in wishing all of the rain, sleet, and snow would just go away. No permanently, but I must admit a bit of a break would be nice. I can see myself now. . . kicked back under a tree, pole in the water, nothing on my mind but the gentle breeze rolling over the hills. Instead, I step out the door at 7 a.m., only to feel the sting of thousands of tiny particles of ice ricocheting off my face! I know the weather is hectic in the good ol' Bluegrass, but enough is enough.

Show some love guys and girls!

Another day at the office. . .

They say if you do something you love, you will never work a day in your life. I can honestly say that this statement is true. Even though I am setting here with all of the engineers, biologists and ecologists, I feel like I am right at home- Most of them have taken me under their wings, teaching me day by day about the field. I would gladly work here for free. Getting paid for what I want to do is the experience of a lifetime.
